ABOUT US
Tall Tail Charters is based in Wilmington, NC and providing a wide variety of boating and Fishing Charters in the Wrightsville Beach area. The boat is a fully rigged 33' Tiara Express Sportfish outfitted for anything from offshore sportfishing to inshore comfort cruises. With twin 300hp Cummins diesel engines, she has the power to get you offshore in a hurry. Tall Tail has Garmin Navigation/Sonar, Furuno Radar, AutoPilot and a second helm up top which allows the captain to navigate with a better vantage point on the fish.
Fully rigged with Rupp Outriggers, freshwater and raw water washdown, livewells, massive fish boxes and bait prep station. Tall Tail keeps all the rocket launchers loaded with Penn International 80w, 50w and 30w Gold Reels. With a full cabin that sleeps 6, stand up bathroom, kitchenette, bean bag chairs for the ride out and helm seating for 8, Tall Tail is ready to put you on the fish in comfort.
Captain Jordan Messick has been fishing the waters of Onslow Bay for 14 years. He moved to the area in 2004 to attend UNCW and immediately found a passion for spending time on the water fishing, diving and surfing. Over the years he moved up from his initial 10' single wide john boat, to many center consoles and finally to the Tiara Sportfish he captains today. Capt Jordan has fished around the world including Costa Rica, Barbados, Puerto Rico, Southern California, Florida, Nicaragua and incorporates their fishing style into his spread.

OUR SERVICES
Fishing 1/2 Day Nearshore
5 Hours - $600 for up to 6 people within 10 miles of the beach. Will be targeting Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Sea Bass, Flounder through various fishing styles including trolling, bottom fishing and site casting. Trip includes captain, mate, bait, tackle, snacks, ice, fuel. Feel free to bring your favorite beverage of choice and any additional snacks.
Fishing Full Day Offshore
8 Hours - $1,300 for up to 6 people within 40 miles of the beach. Will be targeting Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, King Mackerel, Amberjack, Grouper, Sea Bass, Flounder with your choice of trolling, bottom fishing or a combination of both. Trip includes captain, mate, bait, tackle, snacks, ice, fuel. Feel free to bring your favorite beverage of choice and any additional snacks.
Fishing Gulf Stream Full Day
12 Hours - $1,900 for up to 6 people out to the Gulf Stream. This trip will target big game fish including: Wahoo, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Sailfish, Grouper, Snapper, and a variety of other pelagic fish. This trip offers a combination of trolling, high speed trolling, bottom fishing and jigging. Trip includes captain, mate, bait, tackle, snacks, ice, fuel. Feel free to bring your favorite beverage of choice and any additional snacks.
Sunset Cruise

$150/hour - Buy 4 Get 1 Free! - Enjoy a romantic sunset cruise down the waterway, pit stop for dinner at any of the fresh seafood restaurants or request the captain to anchor up and grill out. Bachelor(ette) Party
$150/hour - Buy 4 Get 1 Free! - This package is the ultimate addition for any Bachelor or Bachelorette Party at the beach. Fun afternoon on the water for up to 6 People. Enjoy bar hopping along the intracoastal waterway, anchor out and light the grill or booze cruise it. Let us know any special request and we will be glad to accommodate.
